Transitioning from Summer into Fall can be a tough adjustment. Putting away your sun dresses and breaking out the boots is never easy for those who love the warmer, longer days of Summer. For us, the change of season is always exciting as we eagerly await the opportunity to indulge in new fashion trends and styles. Fortunately, one of this season’s hottest trends is sure to carry us through the year - glamorous, feminine jewel tones. These rich, bold colors are easy to pair with other solids, prints or patterns, and they add a little ‘umph’ to the ordinary autumnal shades. If your not ready to jump on the colored jeans bandwagon, our latest Jewel Tone Collection is the perfect way to add a little Fall color to your look.

We’re all about re-mixing looks - from the weekend to the office, day to night, fancy to casual – you name it! Visualizing how to wear one article from your wardrobe numerous ways is a difficult yet rewarding task. Whether it’s a shirt or a pair of shoes, we like to tell ourselves not to buy anything unless you can envision multiple ways to wear it (let’s be honest, this isn’t always the case..). We’ve all seen the 30 outfits in 30 days (as mastered by Kendi on Kendi Everyday), or the one shirt 5 ways (or 10 ways on J’s Everyday Fashion), and although not every look is a guaranteed win, nine times out of ten we’re pretty impressed with what these fashionistas can come up with using one piece from their closet plus a little creativity.images via …love Maegan

Have you tried mixing prints yet? Sounds like it could be a busy disaster, but take a few notes from this look for simple, cute mixing and matching tips. This gold dress has a consistent pattern that only introduces two colors, gold being the prominent shade. You may think pairing it with our Copa Cabana satchel would prove disastrous but the two prints actually complement one another. The Copa print is less predictable and more organic however it has the same color scheme, the darker brown as the dominant color. With the dark trim, handles and detail, the handbag nicely balances the dress, without either print overwhelming the other. Add a few coordinating accessories and you’ve perfected print mix-ology!
